Elizabeth Christy earned her J.D. from Golden Gate University Law School in 2004 where she served her class as their First Year Student Bar Association Representative. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oregon in 1999.
During law school, Elizabeth gained legal experience as an Extern for the Honorable Marjorie Slabach, a Commissioner for the Unified Family Court of San Francisco’s Superior Court of California.
Additionally, Elizabeth spent two years working for San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom as an intern and campaign worker.
Prior to law school, Elizabeth had a career in television where she interviewed celebrities such as George Clooney and Matt Damon.

Elizabeth is committed to volunteerism and proud of her contribution to the community. Over the years she participated in the San Francisco Women’s Political Committee and Fundraising Committee. She planned and hosted a fundraiser for The American Red Cross to benefit Hurricane Katrina and a fundraiser to benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation. Elizabeth volunteers her time participating in the Clark County Volunteer Lawyers Program advice clinics and Elizabeth also shows community support by donating financially and through in-kind donations to all types of community organizations.
